Linda Dunn








Artist Biography

Linda Dunn retired from Visalia to Cambria in 1999 after 27 years in all areas of special education. During that time she served as a Master Teacher and Mentor Teacher.

Linda didnít start painting until retirement, studying with Joy Krull and Kris Doe in the Emeritus classes at Cuesta College. She has taken workshops from Elizabeth Tolley, Julia Seelos, Robert Burrige and Susan Jenkins. She donates her art to several organizations for use in their fundraisers. She exhibits her work at Allied Arts, Paso Robles Art Association, the Joslyn Center & San Luis Obispo Art Center as well as several other art venues. Linda has had three exhibits as the featured artist at Allied Arts Association.

Linda is inspired by the beautiful community of Cambria by the Sea, living in the forest and having the ocean within walking distance provides a multitude of subjects to paint. She is fascinated by color and shadows as the sun moves around on the Central Coast during the year.
